My brother and I had so many comics growing up. Not only did we love superheroes, but we were also convinced we were investing for our future.

The comic was found in a dusty old attic, wrapped in newspapers. The gem of a find proves two things: first, that Superman’s legacy still packs a punch; and second, that some comic books are more valuable today than luxury cars.

10. All-Star Comics #8 (1941): $1,620,000
This issue is a big one: it marks the first-ever appearance of Wonder Woman.
The debut was such a hit that she immediately got her own lead feature and joined the Justice Society — basically the early version of the Justice League — just a few issues later.
