There’s a lot of junk in Arc Raiders, some of it only exists to be sold or used as decorative items in your home, while others are key materials you will always need. Advanced Electrical Components are one of those items. Used both in upgrading your Utility Station and crafting critical items like Raider Hatch Keys, you can truly never have enough of this item, and it should always have priority space when you’re scavenging.
So if you are low on Advanced Electrical Components or just want to increase your reserves, these are some key places you should visit to find them.
Where To Find Advanced Electrical Components
Unsurprisingly, this item is an Electrical-themed item, meaning it has a higher chance of appearing at any point of interest with the lightning bolt icon under its name on the map. Conveniently, only three locations sport this icon, and there’s one alternate method of obtaining them if you don’t want to scavenge. They are:
- Pilgrim’s Peak in The Blue Gate
- Power Generation Complex in Dam Battlegrounds
- Fuel Control in Spaceport
- Crafting them once you unlock the Level 2 Refiner
Of the three locations, I personally prefer Pilgrim’s Peak, which is located northeast of The Blue Gate. Broken up across two distinct areas, you will want to focus your hunt largely on the underground bunker just below the massive tower. Down here, there are a nice number of breachable electrical boxes and loot bins, plus Pilgrim’s Peak is designated as a “High Tier” loot zone, which is always good for finding rare-tier items.
All that being said, The Blue Gate is a fairly tricky map due to the open nature of the terrain, the influx of people looking for PVP, and the plethora of ARC enemies roaming around. If you do plan to venture out onto this map, I always recommend bringing a bit more ammo and meds just to ensure you can leave alive with your goods.
If you want something a little more lowkey, the Power Generation Complex is a solid area to find Advanced Electrical Components. Located in the northern region of Dam Battlegrounds. This large structure is almost exclusively a bunch of underground corridors and rooms, a lot of which have either breachable containers or general lootable bins.
Power Generation Complex also has an elevator on the western side, which can be handy for leaving quickly with your haul!
The last location on our list is Fuel Control, which is not a place I would dedicate an entire run to hit. If you’re in the area, it serves as a nice pit stop, but it won’t be nearly as consistent for finding Advanced Electrical Components as the other two.
Finally, players can actually craft Advanced Electrical Components once they hit level 2 of the Refiner workstation. It will cost users 3 Wire and 2 Electrical Components, both of which are uncommon tier items. You find a lot of these, which makes it an ideal way to make use of the general junk you find in the world.
