Family vacations are only as fun as the people attending the getaway. In some families, yearly vacations with the whole family are the norm. Everyone piles into the car and heads off to camp out in a cabin, or they’ll spend a week at the beach soaking in the sun, or maybe they’ll fly out to Europe and enjoy all the sights it has to offer. Depending on how close the family members are, this can include just the immediate fam, or the entire extended family might show up for the getaway.
When the kids grow up and become adults with their own families, it can become even more fun to take these trips! Now, grandma and grandpa can take the grandkids into the ocean while the parents take a nap on the beach. Or even if the grown-up children just have pets, that means that the parents, kids, and pets can plan long hikes or dance the night away.
This family seems to have some major issues with their adult kids who just… haven’t really matured at all. The story is quite odd, because for some reason, the kiddos just didn’t invite their family members to a baby shower. It makes you wonder what wasn’t included in this story… but either way, the kids seem very ungrateful for the vacation time they could’ve enjoyed, if only they hadn’t been so uncaring.
