It looks like Dragon Ball’s MOBA, Project Multi, is going to be re-revealed soon, as its seemingly final (and very strange) name has been spotted on Steam.

As Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero proved when it launched last year and Xenoverse, FighterZ, and Kakarot have been showing for ages, Dragon Ball has been having a very good run in the world of video games. Even with all of those massive titles under its Super Saiyan belt, there’s still plenty that’s being done with the franchise as a whole.

Case in point, Dragon Ball: Project Multi, an online MOBA that was revealed out of nowhere last year, had an open test beta over a short period, and then disappeared off the face of the Earth. Since then, Dragon Ball fans have wondered where it might have gone to, and if it’s going to pop up any time soon, something that now seems to be the case.

As pointed out by Dragon Ball insider DbsHype, Dragon Ball: Project Multi’s Steam page was recently updated on the backend, as shown by SteamDB. One of the most recent changes made to the page is changing the game’s title from Project Multi to Gekishin Squadra, something that was actually trademarked by Bandai some time ago but has only just been associated with Dragon Ball.

Considering Bandai Namco has recently been confirmed to make an appearance at Summer Game Fest, it’s likely that the title change is leading up to a full re-reveal of the game, which will hopefully tell us when it’s aiming to release as well. It’s possible that the two aren’t linked and that Gekishin Squadra will just be shown at a later date, but the timing is pretty suspicious.

For now, though, we at least know for sure that Project Multi wasn’t abandoned after its initial reveal. We’ll know for sure when Summer Game Fest takes place next week, but even if it’s not there, a full reveal doesn’t seem too far off.
