If you were thinking about ordering takeout and eating it in the bathtub this weekend, you might wanna think again. (And maybe reevaluate your relationship with hygiene.)
Confessing that eating in the bathtub is “one of the grossest things [she’s] ever done in [her] life,” Olivia explained that she was simply trying to relax after a long, stressful day. “I was working. I was really tired,” she said. “This decision came from being exhausted. I was staying in this hotel, the Shangri-La in Vancouver, and they have amazing sushi. I needed to take a bath, and I also needed to eat.”
Setting the scene at the luxury hotel, Olivia said that she started running a bath for herself and left the sushi beside the tub as she was busy attending to a few other things. By the time that bath was ready, she hopped in and “started eating the sushi from the bath.”
Well, you probably already know where this is going. “Sushi’s not supposed to be heated by bath water for sure,” Olivia said, confessing that she “had food poisoning the next day” and was projectile vomiting in public. “I was at the airport at the gift shop, just, like, [puking] into the trash can from afar.”
“Guys, I hate myself for telling this story,” she concluded.
Let that be a lesson to anyone who gets hungry in the bathtub. Thanks for your service, Olivia.
