CRKD’s Fortnite-themed Neo S Wireless Controllers for PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile are on sale for their lowest prices yet at Amazon. There are three Fortnite Edition models to choose from, each of which is on sale for $48 (was $60). The Peely- and Raven-themed models launched in April and come with matching charging docks and in-game items. The other controller is the Fortnite Festival Edition, which launched back in December and comes with a 5-button fret attachment for Fortnite’s Guitar Hero-inspired game mode. All three models have pro-style features, including Hall Effect sticks and triggers, remappable back buttons, swappable stick caps, and adjustable settings.
Amazon has limited quantities of all three deals, so if you see one you want, snag it while you can. Since the Neo S connects via Bluetooth, you should be able to use them wirelessly on Nintendo Switch 2 as well. It is worth noting, however, that the Fortnite-themed versions of the Neo S have the Xbox face button layout, whereas other editions, such as the transparent model that’s discounted to $42.50 (was $50), match Nintendo’s labeling with X on top, A on the right, B on bottom, and Y on the left.
The Fortnite Festival Edition was designed by the team behind Guitar Hero and DJ Hero controllers. It’s reminiscent of the 4-fret attachment that slotted into the Game Boy Advance slot on the Nintendo DS. Playing Guitar Hero with the cartridge slot attachment was actually pretty fun, and the rectangular form factor of the Neo S makes holding the controller this way feel natural. It comes with a velcro wrist strap to keep it from flying across the room when you’re in the middle of a guitar solo and a microfiber drawstring bag for travel.

Along with Nintendo Switch and PC, you can use the controller to play Fortnite Festival (and other games) on streaming platforms like Xbox Cloud Gaming on mobile devices. If you don’t like the purple color scheme, CRKD also released a Black Tribal edition of the Neo S with the 5-fret attachment for $60.

If you’re not interested in the fret attachment but still want a Fortnite-themed controller, the Peely and Raven models have the added bonus of being bundled with charging docks that double as display stands. Plus, the artwork is more “Fortnite” than the Purple Wave design. The graphics look like they were pulled from a Fortnite comic book. The Raven model comes with a code that unlocks The Viceroy Mark I Glider, while the Peely edition includes the Drip Dropper Glider. You can check out all three Fortnite Neo S Controller designs below.

Nintendo Switch owners can also save on the Fortnite-themed Nitro Deck+. Normally $80, you can get this handheld controller for $59.20 (was $80). Since CRKD’s Nitro Deck cradles the Switch and replaces the Joy-Con Controllers, it will not be compatible with Switch 2. It’s designed for Switch and Switch OLED consoles.
Additional stick tops are sold separately in bundles of eight. Amazon has stick top bundles in gray and orange/black for $13 (was $20) each. An eight-pack of black stick tops is also available, but this one costs the full $20 right now. You can customize trigger and stick sensitivity using the CRKD mobile app. The easy-to-use app is where you go to map inputs, including the pair of remappable back buttons. The Neo S has adjustable rumble and motion controls, though motion controls will only work on Nintendo Switch. Within the app, you can turn on optional preloaded configurations, including a turbo mode.
CRKD will launch an actual guitar controllers in the coming months. These were originally expected to release in June, but were pushed back to July/August. Officially licensed by Gibson Les Paul, the upcoming wireless controller will be available in two different color schemes: Blueberry Burst and Black Tribal. You can opt for the Xbox/PC version for $125-$135 or the Nintendo Switch/PC/legacy console edition for $115-$125. Neither model supports PS5 or PS4. You can preorder CRKD’s Gibson Les Paul Guitar Controllers at Amazon.
If you need PlayStation compatibility, you can snag PDP’s Riffmaster Wireless Guitar Controller for PS5 for $117 (was $150) at Walmart. Meanwhile, the Xbox and PC version of the Riffmaster is on sale for $127.46 (was $150) at Amazon. Both models previously sold for $130, but according to PDP’s website and Amazon, the price recently jumped to $150.
