Atthaporn Boonmakchuay, 38, was attacked by the huge snake in the bathroom of his home in Chachoengsao province, east of Bangkok, leaving him with severe blood loss
A man was left fighting for his life after suffering severe blood loss when a python bit him on the penis while he was using the toilet.
Thai man Atthaporn Boonmakchuay, 38, was attacked by the large snake in the bathroom of his home in Chachoengsao province, east of Bangkok. According to reports, he reached down after feeling a sudden sharp pain, only to find the python’s jaws clamped onto the tip of his genitals.
In a panic, Atthaporn called out for his wife and struggled to free himself from the grip of the 11-foot serpent. Before losing consciousness, he managed to tie a rope around the snake’s head and secure it to the bathroom door to prevent it from escaping.

Emergency services quickly responded and transported him to the hospital, where he was treated for significant blood loss.
Footage from the scene shows rescue crews working to extract the python from the toilet’s plumbing, even using hammers to dismantle parts of the system. The snake was eventually captured, placed in a secure bag, and later released back into the wild, according to local outlet Bangpakong News.
Authorities believe the python entered the home by swimming up through the pipes.
Just months later, a woman in Thailand had her own terrifying encounter with a 14-foot python that emerged from her toilet while she was using it.
Nareerat Sri-nhampong, 38, managed to leap off the toilet just in time after spotting the enormous snake, narrowly escaping injury.
The incident took place in Chonburi, where local rescue volunteers were called to the scene. In order to locate and capture the massive python, they were forced to dismantle parts of the woman’s bathroom. The operation took over an hour, during which the team used hammers to break through floor tiles, eventually discovering the snake hiding in a hollow space beneath the floor.
Once extracted, the python was found to weigh around 20 kilograms and measured over four meters in length.
Remarkably, Nareerat told local media that this was not her first encounter with the snake – she believes it was the same python that bit her on the heel three months earlier while she was using the toilet.
