Words seen on a blackboard on Jeffrey Epstein’s island included the words “fear,” “pain” and “political” – sparking speculation online about its possible meaning

Jeffrey Epstein’s blackboard on his private Caribbean island had 12 bizarre words written down on it that have sparked a mystery online.

Never before seen photos and videos from Little St. James led to widespread speculation following their release. Internet sleuths are now picking apart the meaning behind a picture of words on a black chalkboard.

Among legible words included: Plants, appears, power, deception, man is face (or far), fear, pain, intellectual, political, truth, music and time – day. The image sparked speculation on popular social media websites where other photos were discussed.

An image of what appeared to be a dentist’s chair surrounded by masks on the wall was also met with speculation and curiosity. A landline phone was also shared in the documents which had several names on speed dial, which included the names Larry, Patrick, Mike, Rich and Darren – redacted names were those of women and they were withheld out of caution.

The images were made public by Democrats on the Oversight Committee that shared them via its X/Twitter profile. Democrat Representative and Oversight Committee member Robert Garcia said: “These new images are a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island. We are releasing these photos and videos to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein’s horrific crimes.”

Sharing the images on X/Twitter, the Democrats oversight profile said: “Oversight Dems have received never-before-seen photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein’s private island that are a harrowing look behind Epstein’s closed doors.

“See for yourself. We won’t stop fighting until we end this cover-up and deliver justice for the survivors.”

Democrats and House Republicans pushed for the release of the files after President Donald Trump worked to block the- documents from being made public, branding them a “hoax”. The move blindsided Republicans who campaigned for the files to be released during their successful bid for the White House last year.

But Trump put the brakes on after entering office for the second time earlier this year. He hit out at Republicans who worked to release the files but ultimately relented when their were enough votes to force them out into the open via legislation.

The photos and videos released today are not part of the document haul expected to be released before or on December 19. Trump and Epstein had been friends but fell out in the mid-2000s.
