This person was just trying to sell a high chair, and they also ended up wondering why the buyer said something bizarre out loud.
In any walk of life, you’re bound to find that type of person who has zero filter. You can almost watch as thoughts enter their brain and immediately depart through their mouths in real time. They don’t think twice before blurting out their opinions! They then don’t seem to understand why people are upset over what they just said, and will happily carry on with their train of thought.
Sometimes these folks don’t even mean what they say — just ask this person, who is left scratching their head after encountering a no-filter mother-in-law during a Facebook Marketplace interaction. The grandmother who was purchasing a high chair for her very first grandbaby should’ve been excited! But instead, she decided to share an oddly personal gripe with a complete stranger. It doesn’t even make much sense… Grandma was seemingly just riffing on a recent idea she’s been pondering.
This seller got a small taste of what retail workers have to deal with on a daily basis — weird people with nothing better to do yapping about random aspects of their lives that they dislike, totally oblivious to the fact that the person listening does not care at all. Let’s hope that the Grandma-to-be doesn’t share this unkind thought — an “inside thought” as the gentle parents of the world might call it — with her actual family members, who might feel more strongly about it than the seller.
