Child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein hosted some of the world’s most powerful political and financial figures at his private Caribbean island Little St. James for decades
Nowhere encapsulates Jeffrey Epstein’s opulence and arrogance more than his private Caribbean island Little St. James.
The late child sex trafficker shuttled political and wealthy elites to the island, which he shaped to his own bizarre and perverse tastes. Nestled off major centres in the US Virgin Islands, Little St. James became Epstein’s own private hideaway.
His private plane would jet him to the international airport in St. Thomas and he would then board a helicopter that would take him to the tiny island. There he is known to host famous pals and is alleged to have trafficked girls for sex.

“It was kind of accepted,” Sasha Bouis, who used to run a restaurant in Great St. James, previously told the New York Times. “There was just a creepy old billionaire living out there.”
The island included a helipad, dock, main and guest houses and a stone-walled cabana with a turquoise ceiling. Guests to the island include Victoria Secret models, Andrew Windsor, billionaires and at least one known victim, Virginia Giuffre.
Epstein owned the island from 1998 until his death in a New York prison cell in 2019. The island has an area estimated to be between 70 to 78 acres.
For decades, the secrets of Little St. James were unknown with many questions remaining over what happened on the island. But layers of the island’s mysteries have begun to be peeled away.
Previously unseen photos of Epstein’s island were released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee earlier this month. The images gave a “disturbing look” into the late billionaire’s world, according to Democrat Robert Garcia.
Photos showed bedrooms, bathrooms and a room that appeared similar to a dentist’s office with creepy masks adorning the walls. There was also a landline phone that had names written on it.
Names on the speed dial included Darren, Rich, Mike, Patrick and Larry. Redacted names were those of women and was done out of caution given the sex trafficking crimes committed by Epstein.
Notes were seen scribbled on a chalkboard and appeared to resemble a brain shower. Words that could be made out included “power, “deception,” political,” “music” and “truth”.
Democrat Representative Robert Garcia, and member of the Oversight Committee, said in a statement: “These new images are a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island. We are releasing these photos and videos to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein’s horrific crimes.”
