Donna Kelce Reveals Her ‘Expensive’ Hobby Before Having Jason and Travis

Donna Kelce is sharing more details about her life before becoming a mom to sons Travis and Jason.

In a teaser for the new episode of Kylie Kelce’s podcast Not Gonna Lie, Donna, 73, sat down with her daughter-in-law to reveal the surprising hobby she pursued before having children with her ex-husband, Ed Kelce.

Donna, as all of Kylie’s guests do, promised she was “not gonna lie” before revealing: “I did learn how to be a pilot before I had children.”

When a stunned Kylie, 33, said, “Donna, what?!,” the mother of two NFL stars explained she “actually went up and flew a plane” once.

Responding to whether or not she “enjoyed” the uncommon hobby, Donna said, “I did, but, you want to have children and it was really expensive so I had to stop.”

“Ed and I decided, well, we should probably get a house and start having kids,” Donna explained, “so I did this way before the kids were even born.”

Kylie said the fun fact was “so cool” and asked if her husband, Jason, knew about her former pastime. Donna said she wasn’t sure, because she “never really brought it up” to her sons.

“But you saved it for this right now,” Kylie, joked, before adding, “Not the other podcast,” in a jab at her husband and Travis’ New Heights.

In June, Donna was announced as a season 4 cast member of The Traitors alongside stars like Olympian Tara Lipinski and Real Housewives alum Dorinda Medley.

When the news dropped, Kylie said she’s “gonna have to watch the next season” to support her mother-in-law.

“That’s right, Donna Kelce, my mother-in-law, is on this coming season of Traitors,” Kylie said on her podcast. “Have I watched Traitors? Not a whole season. Am I excited to watch Donna? 1000% Imma cheer her on until the end of time.” 

Kylie also weighed in on Donna’s chances of winning the competition series, which asks cast members to participate in physical challenges and lie in order to get ahead. “I’m not gonna lie, though, her innocence and honesty is working against her … or for her,” said Kylie.

“Oh, if she’s a faithful, maybe it works for her. Oh! We’re all on the edge of our seat. I’m excited. Come on, Donna, win it!”
