Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is available to preorder now ahead of its September 5 launch. The sequel to the 2019 Switch exclusive (ported to PC in 2020) will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on release day. Though Switch 2 console preorders in the US have been delayed, you can already preorder the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion. That makes it the first Switch 2 game available to preorder from a US retailer.

A brand-new copy of Daemon X Machina typically fetches higher prices today than it did at launch ($60)–you can get a preowned copy from GameStop for $40–so preordering early may be a wise move, especially if you’re interested in the collectible edition with extra goodies. Daemon X Machina’s Limited Edition costs $100 and comes with a handful of extras despite only being priced $30 higher than the standard edition.

Let’s take a closer look at Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion preorders for both physical editions.

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Preorder Bonuses

At the moment, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion doesn’t have any preorder bonuses. If anything changes between now and September 5, we’ll update this section with details. If you preorder before bonuses are revealed, most retailers will automatically add the bonus to your order.

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is set in a world where people born with unique abilities rebel against the rest of humanity. Eventually, they take control of an array of orbital defense satellites and rule the planet below with an iron fist. What follows is a series of intense mech battles as the warring factions fight for control of the world.

You can customize your Arsenal (mech) and explore Titanic Scion’s open world solo or alongside up to two friends in the online cooperative mode. The sequel has been pitched as a standalone experience, so you don’t need to play the original before diving in. That said, it is worth checking out regardless. Our Daemon X Machina review gave the original a 7/10, praising its rewarding gameplay loop and its shockingly deep lore.

Keep in mind that, while this is the first Nintendo Switch 2 game available for preorder, you still can’t preorder the Nintendo Switch 2 console. Originally expected to open on April 9, preorders have been delayed in the US due to the ongoing tariff situation–which is impacting just about every industry, not just gaming. The console is still slated to release on June 5, and we’ll likely hear more about the preorder situation and any possible pricing adjustments in the coming weeks.
