If you’ve ever wanted to get back at those callers who just won’t leave you alone, this is the story for you.
In general, I think it’s never been easier to ignore spam-callers. These telemarketers are immediately flagged by my iPhone as such, which is good, because they have tons of tricks up their sleeves to try and get people to answer their phones. For example, some of them will figure out your home area code and send call after call your way, all looking like that could be someone random you know from your hometown. They’ll leave messages that sound plausible, or they’ll send you text messages that say, “So are you interested…” leaving you to respond and ask what they mean. They’ll never, ever, ever give up!
However, if you’re using a landline phone, these calls can be not only persistent, but a constant source of irritation. And before you say, “Who uses a landline phone anymore?” let me answer your question: a lot of people, but specifically folks in offices who have desk phones. So if you work a white-collar job and you’re expecting a call from a client to the office phone, you have to keep picking up for any random number, and that person might just be trying to sell you something. These sales folks can be relentless!
This person got incredibly creative when dealing with a company who would not stop calling. And just in case you didn’t believe their story, they included an incredible photo, so keep scrolling to have a laugh at that.
