One of the most fun aspects of playing Runescape: Dragonwilds is the constant progression to different tiers of equipment. In most Survival Crafting games, it takes you hours before moving from one tier to another, which isn’t the case with this one since you can easily get the items required for the first couple of tiers.

Runescape: Dragonwilds – How To Fast Travel
Runescape: Dragonwilds has a giant open world, and if you don’t want to waste time moving around it constantly, you can use Lodestones to fast travel.
While trying to upgrade your equipment for the first time, the main problem you’ll run into is the lack of Adhesive. While this isn’t a particularly rare resource to encounter, the process of making it can easily be missed, and here’s everything you need to know about it.
How To Make Adhesive
If you want to get yourself some Adhesive in Runescape: Dragonwilds, you’ll have to first venture into the Whispering Swamp area, which is the third biome to the northeast of the village where you create your first home. In this biome, you can get both Clay and Swamp Tar, which are important ingredients for Adhesive.
Upon getting Clay, you’ll unlock the recipe for Kiln, which takes the following resources:
- Eight Ash Logs
- 20 Stone
- Six Clay
- Ten Fire Rune
You can get Fire Rune by defeating enemies and opening their packs or by crafting it at the Rune Altar.
When you have the Kiln ready, you just have to place the Swamp Tar inside and start the process to get some Adhesive in a few seconds. You can get one Adhesive for each Tar you place in the Kiln.
While Swamp Tar isn’t a particularly rare resource to encounter, you’ll still have to spend some time in the swamp for it since it can blend well with the ground and the water. One of the best places to look for this is the bridge to the east of Whispering Swamp that leads you to the vault. The bridge has a few goblin enemies beside it.
Once you get past this bridge, you can find a bunch of Swamp Tar as you slowly go down the path.
