A mum was in hysterical tears after realising what product her husband gave their son to wash his hair with when she wasn’t around. For people that are not used to the huge amount of feminine products women use in their shower and beauty routines, it can be overwhelming to know what their uses are.

This was true for one dad who “helped” his son when he ran out of shampoo for his hair. He found a bottle from his wife’s beauty stash, and without reading what it was for, gave it to his son.

He said: “You can use mummy’s until she gets you a new one.” The first the wife, who has 1.3 million followers on TikTok posting under the username @imtheproblem, heard of the problem was when her son asked if she could smell his hair.

She said: “I sniffed his head. He said, ‘I don’t like that new shampoo… I’m using that orange bottle’.

“I’m thinking about all of my shampoo bottles and I’m like, OK, the orange one, it’s organic. It’s not as perfumed as Herbal Essences, but your hair’s still clean.

“And then yesterday he’s having a shower and he’s forgotten a towel. So I take him in a towel and immediately my eyes go towards the orange bottle that he’s been washing his hair with for the last few days.

“He’s been washing his hair with Femfresh. I was right, it’s definitely less perfumed than Herbal Essences, but it’s definitely not shampoo.

“So I obviously find this hilarious. I go outside the room laughing. My daughter says, why are you laughing? I explained to her why I’m laughing.

“And she says, well, serves him right because you did say he needs to start reading more at home, which makes me laugh even more. I go downstairs and I explain to my husband why I’m laughing.

“He said, I gave that to him. So they’ve both learned a valuable lesson to read the labels of things and stop going through my stuff.”
