In the final episode of Dispatch, there’s a lot that happens. Everything comes to a head at the city of Los Angeles is burning under Shroud’s attack. Only Robert and the Z-Team can put a stop to the mayhem, but they’re down a couple noticeable heroes.
Everything you’ve worked for has been for this moment, and we’ll help you navigate it to make sure you get the best outcome possible. Here’s everything you need to know to get the Z-Team back in action and defeat Shroud, once and for all! If you can’t stop Shroud now, then no one ever will.
Dispatch Shift Choices
With the Red Ring causing mayhem across the city, all heroes are on alert. There aren’t enough supers to go around, so you can tell Blonde Blazer to go fight the rampaging villains–she’s not just cut out for desk duty, anyway.
When you log into your computer, there are only three heroes available: Golem, Punch Up and Prism. The rest will come trickling in throughout the shift as they get the call, but for now, you have to make the best of what you’ve got.
Golem will be a little less reliable, as he took a gummy to help him sleep, so now he’s high.
First Shift Choices
After your first completed call, Blonde Blazer will alert you to a new feature at the top left of the screen–the Torrance meter. This shows you how much is left of the city, and you don’t want to deplete it. Manage your resources wisely to keep the bar as full as you can until you have a full team at your disposal again.
If the bar reaches zero, your shift ends early! Every failed mission contributes.

Attacking the Red Ring meter should be your priority, so keep an eye out for a familiar face lurking around the city! Attack as often as you can, but only when you know you’ll succeed.
SDN Office Choices
As soon as you bring down your familiar foe, the power goes out at the SDN office. Follow Royd to check up on Chase, then hurry to where you keep the Mecha Man suit. Royd is already fighting an invisible foe, who he zip ties to the table so they can’t get away.
The office is being swarmed by the Red Ring, and there’s no time to lose. While Royd goes to retrieve the Mecha Man suit, you have a choice to make. No calls come in, and none can go out, so you’re limited to what’s already in the building–including Invisigal.
Should You Untie Invisigal?
-
Go It Alone
It’s difficult to trust Invisigal, and Royd specifically asked that you keep her tied up while he’s gone. The timing is suspicious at best, and if you’ve rejected all of Invisigal’s advances and refused to forgive her, it’s not looking good. Going it alone means attacking the lone Red Ring villain with just a taser, and Invisigal is under no obligation to help.
-
Untie Invisigal
Without powers, you don’t stand a chance against the Red Ring in numbers–especially not with an ex Z-Team member hunting you down. Untie Invisigal to give yourself a chance at success.
The Fight With Shroud Choices
Regardless of your choice to free Invisigal, she’ll break off on her own, leaving Robert to retrieve the Mecha Man suit and confront the Red Ring himself. Outside, all the heroes you’ve encountered thus far will team up to fight the villains swarming SDN.
Your choices here in terms of combat are stylistic, so feel free to use whatever moves you’d like. Even when attacking a familiar face, your word choice is a matter of preference. However, in the final confrontation with Shroud, everything comes to a head.

Should You Kill Shroud Or Show Mercy?
If you have a poor relationship with Invisigal, you won’t get the chance to make this call.
-
Show Shroud Mercy
Showing mercy is what heroes do. They don’t kill people, after all, as long as it can be avoided. Choosing this option gives Robert the opportunity to show mercy to his father’s killer, completing the hero arc.
-
Kill Shroud
Killing Shroud yourself leaves Robert with the vengeance route, pummeling Shroud to a pulp with his fists. After everything he’s done, it’s well deserved, but is it what a hero would do?
The Aftermath Choices
Once the fight is over and the Z-Team emerges victorious, it’s time to wrap things up. Depending on your choices throughout, you’ll either have successfully mentored Invisigal and made her part of the team or you’ll have iced her out and she’ll disappear for good. Regardless, you can decide the fate of the Z-Team member you cut in an earlier episode.
Should You Forgive Coupe and Sonar?
You’ll only get this choice if you stopped Coupe or Sonar from destroying the city by depleting the red gauge during your shift.
-
Forgive Them
Reminding them that the Phoenix Program is about second (and sometimes third) chances is ideal, as it welcomes them back onto the Z-Team and gives them another shot at becoming a hero.
-
Forget Them
Forsaking them one last time seals their fate as a villain, fully cutting them off from SDN and the Z-Team, which they will remember.
With that, you can spend time with the Z-Team and your romantic partner, be it Blonde Blazer or Invisigal. Things are all wrapped up for now, though the SDN Torrance office is all but destroyed. You’ve saved the city, and now it’s time to get some rest.
