A WOMAN of 35 who once relished being seduced by older men has an entirely different view now she is competing for their affections against 20somethings.
Charlotte Phelps of Woking enjoyed riding in 40-year-old bankers’ Porsches when she was 24, but now realises those relationships are a gross imbalance of power that should be illegal.
Phelps said: “I saw myself as a strong, independent woman making empowered choices to bang hot, rich silver foxes. Now I know that I was a child groomed with cocktails and jazz bars.
“A 27-year-old may be able to vote, drive, work, be an MP and join the army, but is this overgrown teen really able to consent to sex with a man of 40? Frankly, he needs his laptop seized.
“Ignore that I thought of myself as ‘old beyond my years and not like other girls’. Because now I’m not a forbidden cutie, I realise those men should be pursuing women their own age who are smart with considered opinions and sciatica.
“It’s not jealousy. I’m concerned for young women with undeveloped minds and perky breasts being manipulated by men with bad intentions and large salaries. Men dating younger women is predatory, disturbing and everywhere I f**king go.”
She added: “That said, if any men in their 20s representing those who I so wilfully ignored in my youth want to wine, dine and shag me, I’m very up for it.”
