When technology is newly introduced to society, it can take some time to adjust to the new etiquette it brings with it. For example: iPads in restaurants. Should kids be permitted to watch their favorite YouTube channels while their parents eat their meals next to them? It’s becoming more and more common, even though a lot of folks don’t care for this. When iPods first became popular, people brought those everywhere, including listening to their tunes in the classroom. Whenever there’s new tech, new etiquette has be created around it. So when it comes to AI technology, which is still in its early years, the respectable uses for it still remain up for debate.
In general, I think if you can’t be bothered to write something, I’m not going to bother to read it. If you can’t take the time to write me a text, I’m not going to waste my one short life replying to it. If you won’t take the time to make a drawing, messy and imperfect but made by human hands, why would I look at some random nonsense a computer mindlessly cobbled together? Be so serious. Where is your soul? There are plenty of things that can be automated by machines, but outsourcing your conversations and human expressions to machines is a step too far.
